What the corpus does contain are repeated, small-n clinical studies run in the United States, France, and Germany, plus commercial experience reports from the original formulator (Pickart). Synthesising these fragments produces a coherent, if provisional, map of who keeps buying topical GHK-Cu and why they do not return it.
Age and clinical need converge first. Cultural trust patterns surface obliquely. When the subsequent 530-patient blinded trial failed, FDA clearance was denied, but the author concedes that patients in the open label “begged for continued access”. This signals a high-compliance, therapeutic-use niche—older, lower-income if the product is reimbursed, but willing to self-pay if pain and wound-care savings are demonstrated. Because Romanian diabetologists already prescribe imported collagenase and hyaluronic dressings off-label, topical GHK-Cu could piggy-back on that behaviour if positioned as an adjunct, not a drug.
Post-purchase support that cuts returns and adverse-event reporting is described only anecdotally, yet the anecdotes recur enough to be treated as a pattern. The formulator’s web-based “Blue Routine” follow-up—an emailed 14-day usage calendar plus a 24-hour nurse hotline—reduced stated irritation complaints from 11 % to <2 % in a 2016 internal audit of 1,847 US buyers (GHK Copper Peptides for Skin and Hair Beauty). There is zero data on male buyers, on Romanian or Baltic pricing elasticity, on pharmacy-versus-online channel trust, or on how post-purchase support interacts with EU consumer-distance-selling regulations. The diabetic-ulcer niche is promising but needs a health-economic model to justify out-of-pocket cost. Finally, none of the books explore how GHK-Cu competes against EU-made growth-factor serums or exosome creams that are now flooding the same upper-middle income segment.
